Uploading GIF problem

It seems that every time I upload my GIF, it comes out all fast. Though when I view it on my computer, it's at normal speed.
Can someone please tell me some sort of solution for this problem.

I am using GIMP-GAP to create my GIFs, though this is the first time I've had this problem with GIFs.

Edit:NVM, I just found out how to slow it down.

i don't have an answer, but maybe you can tell me how to even open an AVI file in gimp gap... i'm still dependent on MS GIF Tool

• these sound such like 2 dumb questions
  • but what few steps do i take to open the movie?
  • what is the preferred movie format gimp gap should open
  • • i typically have AVIs (for MS GIF ANIMATOR)

And nevermind my question, I just figured it out.

Edit:Forgot to answer your second question, but the one that I downloaded could open AVI, MPG, and I think MOV (haven't tried that one yet).
