I purchased a Wii fit balance board in the US. Back in Europe, I tried to connect it to my European Wii console without success. On the balance board box I now read (for use in North America only). Is there a way to make it work in Europe? Thanks in advance for your help. Hate to waste $100 as I cannot return the unit.

All Wii hardware is region free as far as I'm aware .. .. .. the software is region specific. Can you borrow a friend's copy of the disc? Doing that would allow you to synchronise the board to your Wii so you can use it with other games although you still won't be able to use your copy of the Wii Fit software.
