Using a US Nintendo Wii in the UK?

Hi All,

I was wondering if it's possible to use a US branded Nintendo Wii in the UK? I have a UK LCD TV which is PAL. I know the US Nintendo Wii's are NTSC, however, is there some type of converter?

As far as the power goes, i can easily convert the 110 to 220v and the plug as well...

Most new Tv's can show both PAL and NTSC, your problem shouldn't be there. The issue would be that you can't buy games in the UK for your US Wii, they are region-locked.

Unfortunately, this TV does not do NTSC

region locked games is no problem as i go to the states all the time.

Any suggestions for a NTSC-PAL converter?

they exist, and shouldnt be too expensive.
