i was just wondering if anyone knows what programming language they use for developing games for the WII

I was told some quality information from a reliable source that the exact details are confidential and the information they could provide was limited. I was told however the development environment is "pretty much" GNU GCC compiler package (complete with GNU Make) with a 3rd party IDE and a series of tools to convert the compiled binaries into Wii compatible form. I was also told that if I knew anything about GameCube development that it was almost the exact same setup, and that was all I was able to get out.

I hope that helps, and hope to gain more information from Nintendo themselves or wait until WiiWare goes public.

i have it on very good authority that games developed in the uk and usa use english whereas games developed in japan use a japanese language
