Due to the release of the Wii U, Nintendo has discontinued a few Wii services. These services include, The Weather Channel, The News Channel, Nintendo Channel, Everybody Votes Channel, Check Mii Out Channel and communication through Wii friend codes. You will no longer be able to send pictures, favorites, letters, game data, gifts, etc. to another Wii console through the use of Wii friend codes.
