Wii Gormiti Lords of Nature

There is a waterfall / paddlewheel made out of trees and the gormiti can jump across to the other side using a rope. My son plays it. How can he get the "paddlewheel" to stop ?

I call it a paddlewheel because I don't know what else to call it.
