Wii PAL from France

Due to the UK shortage of consoles. I am considering buying a unit from France. I believe that the manual etc is in French, English and German and i can select English as the language during the initial set up. However i have on major concern. The French use secam as their format, however the Wii boxes are described as Wii PAL. Has anyone any experience of these units in the UK ?
Are there any issues when playing UK games.
I would appreciate any help and advice that anyone could give.

All it is is a diffrent TV cable and plug in the box

Most if not all modern tvs should handle the signal

What problems with a German version??

Well it should just fit right into the tv (I havent seen the French wiis bits)

There should be no probs with a German one (all the ones fron Euorpe are the same)
Aside from it wont play any WW2 games
And dont mention the War to it
