samsungs have a button on the remote to change between auto zoom, widescreen, panoramic etc...

i dont have my remote to hand so i cant remember what it looks like, you may wanna try that to cycle through the picture size/zooms :thumbsup:

I have the Samsung LN-S3251D and I have not had a problem with 480p and 16:9. The button on the remote that Gary was referring to is the P.Size button. Not to be redundant but make sure the 480p option is enabled on your Wii and if you want (and if your TV supports it) try turning the Game Mode option on and off.
