My big one just broke (not that arsed it only cost a fiver)
So im looking for a new one
I dont wanna spend hundreds on one thos so I got my eye on one of these

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/New-USB-Graph...14&_trkparms=72:1690|66:2|65:12|39:1|240:1318
The thinness of that one is a cause of concern as I dont have a traditional desk
But will have something hard to put it on (worried about me snapping it)

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Portable-Digi...14&_trkparms=72:1690|66:2|65:12|39:1|240:1318

I dont know if this one will let me edit things on my computer witch is one of the main useis I need it for
But the drawing bit on paper will be nice

Or any other suggestions
Im not gonna get a really expensive one and I dont want a small one

Model I have, and it works just as good as any big one ('cept for those tablets where you can draw on the screen). Not like you'll be throwing your arms all over the place for your drawings anyway... unless you actually do it like that. It has excellent precision, haven't witnessed a single problem, cursor doesn't jump or anything and it has Pressure Sensitivity as well.

Anybody use on of these?

First I'll say that I don't own a graphics tablet (though I'd like to get one someday, probably when I see a bamboo on sale in store somewhere).

However, I don't think that "pen shaped mouse" is really going to do you much justice in place of a tablet. First off, it must be held flat on surface (it is just a mouse in a different shape), therefore it won't feel like a pen at all (I think you know what I mean by that since you draw, you know that you constantly adjust angle and sweep with a pen/pencil, which this device won't allow since it must be flat to surface). Second off, the resolution isn't nearly high enough for graphics (I went to their website here http://www.wow-pen.com/eng/products/wowpen05.htm
resolution is 400/800 DPI, as a point of reference, the resolution on the small bamboo tablet Gikoku linked is 2540 dpi).

No, no, no. A Pen tablet is much more intuitive if you are used to drawing. Why? Because it's based on a pen-on-paper concept. -_-

That mouse pen is "ergonomically" way different.

And as I have said before: Tablet size is irrelevant. All sizes are easily adaptable.

I have used a small one

It was hard to use due to that
A4 is the ideal size for me
It dosnt matter now as I got one off ebay that is sufficient

Im not getting overly expensive ones as
Well
I CANT AFFORD THEM

Was your small tablet on mouse mode when you used it? If it was, then it would make sense that it would be difficult to use. Mouse mode is when the tablet surface isn't mapped to the computer screen (so if you were to bring your pen off the tablet, then bring it back to tap the corner of the tablet, so should the cursor reappear on that corner of the screen).

At any rate, Congratulations on your purchase. =)

And just in case you've never done so, be sure take your tablet off of mouse mode and life will be easier. =)

I never had my last one on mouse mode

Im surprised that they all work without drivers but downloaded the ones that that one anyway (it and my last had none in the box)

But the last one only cost a fiver and was massive (charity shop)(will be in my next parrot vid)
and this one cost £20
