Help with my wii issue

Hey..i went to turn my wii on and all I get is a blue screen. What does this mean?

Is it plugged into the TV and TV is on the right channel?

DBloke might be right about this or the problem could be the scart plug is not inserted in the TV properly. Also check if the red, white & yellow scart plugs are inserted in the correct place. It could be because you muddled up the colors.
