I'm stuck please help

On Wii zelda i am on the sky temple or something and i have to shoot a red switch to open a door blocked by wind.....
But my arrows are useless againt the wind

Just to clarify, is that the room with all the pits and platforms where there is wind blowing out of fans? It's just that I haven't played in a very long time.
