Okay question..

When a new member joins the forum, there's a thing that asks if you were recommended to wiichat by another member and you can put their username in.

I was just wondering if that membet that recommended the site get's anything for this?

(btw I tried to search for the answer but I couldn't find anything)

In other forums I've previously been in, it actually says on the bottom of the member's info who had recruited them, but it's also used for forum records as well I presume.

yup kama is right

i dont think wiichat does it but ive seen that the more people you recruit, the names appear under yours as kind of a minion if you will.

i think its just a reference tool like when you do a resume for a job and they ask who your character references.
