URL in Signature

How come I cannot add a URL tag to my signature when I see other members (not moderators) with URLs in their signature? It's driving me crazy.

they found a way around it. we do allow people to have links to other sections of Wiichat.com and PS3chat.com (our sister site) but links to any outside website are not allowed and will be deleted
