Nordic Games has today announced the very latest addition to its extremely popular singing game franchise – We Sing 80s. Yes, it’s the decade of big hair, shoulder pads, and some of the best pop and rock music around that’s still getting everyone up on the dance floor and singing along to this day. Due for release in October, We Sing 80s will feature 30 nostalgic favourites, including plenty of cult 80s hits and fabulous disco tracks, all of which will include the original videos. As with the previous We Sing games, each song will have its own difficulty rating and can be played in short or full-length song modes.

“This addition to the We Sing collection will replicate everything that the 80s was adored for,” says Nik Blower, Sales and Marketing Director, Nordic Games. “The game’s customisable interface means that it will be packed full of flamboyance, big hair and disco colours as we continue to provide fans and new friends of the series with a fresh singing experience.”

As usual, the game will support up to four players simultaneously using four separate microphones in any of the eight multiplayer modes. Party modes include We Sing, Versus, Group Battle, Pass The Mic, First to X, Marathon, Blind and Expert, and there’s also a Solo mode that can be played in Blind and Expert mode. You can even get stuck into Karaoke mode if you’re really confident, giving yourself the chance to sing without the aid of vocals.

We Sing 80s is packed with all the usual We Sing features, including Singing Lessons and Jukebox. There are even Player Statistics to show you how well, or badly, you did! We Sing games are always a lot of fun with great tracklists, so it’ll be interesting to see what 80s hits have made it into the game when they’re announced.
