Wiimote not functioning properly?

I wondered if anybody else has had a similar problem with their wiimote? The family was playing Bowling (sports pack) successfully for a day or so when the 'B' button suddenly stopped functioning correctly. When you release the 'B' button to bowl the ball, it doesn't work, by that I mean when I let go of the B button the ball isn't released. I have tried resyncing, turning off power, etc but to no avail. This is highly frustrating, even more so forthe kids.

Any advice much appreciated.

Try hitting the remote on your palm a good 5 times or so.

Wii remote problems

Tried your suggestion of hitting the remote in the palm of my hands a few times and it worked a treat ;-)
