A new wii player with some questions.

Hi everyone. I am new to this forum, my name is Mike.

I am new to wii as I just got it for christmas and I haven't had a chance to read through all of it yet. All I have done is hook it up. So in the meantime, I was wondering if I may ask you if you could help me out.

1) I always played Madden on PS2 since whenever the first one came out around 2001. For Madden 2008 on wii, is this an interactive game where you actually do a throwing motion to throw to your receivers and so on, or is this a game where you just press the buttons on the control like other systems?

2) I am interested in getting the "old school" games on my wii like Mario brothers, punch-out, ect...How do you get those games on your wii? Are all those old school games from nintendo and sega available? Any more info here would be appreciated.

I cant help with the Madden question (meh sport games)

But the secound
First you need to get it conneted to the internet
Then you go to the wii shop channel
Buy some wiipoints
Download games

But you need a Game cube/classic controller for SNES/N64
