Nintendo's Wi-Fi

So my Nintendo Wii is down in the basement and my computer upstairs.
Well if I got a Nintendo USB Wif-Fi connecter for my PC do you think my Nintendo Wii will be able to still get a signal???

Should work, but I won't 100% guarantee it since there are alot of factors that go into the range of a wireless connection.
