Hello,
I purchased a Wii last night from amazon.co.uk since they had stock

So, i am wondering if purchased games from the US will work on this console? Basically, what are the main differences?

Any information would be appreciated! Thank You.

Buying a wii from the UK means you cannot play any games bought in America. They are on different formats.

Yeah it kinda sucks, also UK games cost more than an American ones do, if they had the same currency, also games come out later, also you'll have to pay for shipping, basically it sucks, cancel it if you can. Local Best Buy's and Targets have are getting shipments on Sunday guaranteed get there at 6 tomorrow!

with the US currency being so crap against the £ it would cost you mega money to buy UK stuff!

However, it does mean that us brits can buy US goods and take advantage of the sweet exchange rate.

dont get a uk wii unless u live in the uk!!!!!
the only way u are gonna play games is if u keep buying them from the uk, which is gonna cost alot cause of importing, or if u mod ur wii :p

still just wait till best buy or walmart has one in stock

I love the £ to $ ratio!

It means I can order custom t-shirts and such for £8 including shipping

Hooray for weak currency!
