Can you play online with friends

Ok I got the wii yesterday! AND I LOVE IT! Anyway If I register someone on my adress book can I play online with them, like a one on one in boxing

unfortunately, you cannot play just any game online with a friend. you will need to buy a game that has the Wi-Fi label on it to play online with friends.

Not in Wii Sports. You can in games like Mario Strikers Charged, Pokemon Battle Revolution, Madden 08, Fifa 08, etc.

no srry, you cant, thats only to communicate with that person, you might be able to play with him if you get an online able game like nba 08, fifa 08, madden 08, mario strikers charged, pokemon battle rvolution and others coming

Thats not strictly true the game could be using other serves eg EA NATION.Which will not have the nintendo wi-fi logo on it.
