Component cables tinting colors?

I just got some wii component cables and the only difference I noticed was that my whites have a very slight yellow tint. Is this normal? I don't understand why this would happen

Did you make sure of all of your TVs color settings?

I have both AV and Component cables and the AV picture's color is perfect so I don't think its the tv settings.

AV and Component are 2 seperate ports; your TV would have seperate color settings for each port. If your color settings are the same as each other, then one color setting is wrong. I'm trying to help you solve this in steps, first try your TVs color settings if that does not fix anything. Make sure all cables are inserted in the correct corresponding colors, and fully inserted.

make sure you have properly connected every f***ng cable and then configure your wii's display to component HDTV etc..etc... you'll notice that your colors levels are much better and well the overall image quality will improve a lot... enjoy your wii with component a/v cables not with the standard composite.
