Energizer Induction Charger Help!!!!

So, I just bought the black Wii pack with the Wii Sports Resort game and I also purchased the Energizer Induction Charging station. So, my problem is, when I have regular batteries in the Wii remotes and I turn the system off the controller goes off. However, when I have the Energizer induction battery packs in and I turn the system off the controllers just blink blue constantly??? The systems off and they still blink. The only way to get them to stop is to take the battery packs out, which is a pain. They work fine casue as soon as I hit power the system fires up so I don't think its a sync issue.

Are the lights blinking because the rechargeables are failing to hold a charge? Just a suggestion - I really do not know why else it would work regularly.

I'm buying a Wii and I don't know if the charging station for the controllers is necessary...Do i need a chargig station for my Wii controllers. ? help please thanks
