GOOD TO LEAVE WII ON??? *standy and stuff*

Hi, i have had my wii since xmas and i have just wonderd i have heard rumours about the wii not working if you leave it on for a while. Is it good to leave the wii on for over a week. ?? i touched my wii the other day and it was hot... can any 1 help or DO ANY 1 HAVE THIS COMMEN PROBLEM THANKS ALOT =D

Are you putting it on standby (red light)? It shouldn't get hot when in that mode (from my experience).
