HD-capable Wii?

It ahs only been weeks since the release of the Wii and there are alredy rumrs of a HD-capable Wii. At an interview with Regie Fils Aime he said:

"tough choices about not including a DVD player at the start, tough choices about not including high-definition capability at the start."

nintendo has already anounced a DVD playing Wii for Japan so could this mean a high definition Wii.

Already posted by iON in the news thread but I'll say it here as well, I think Reggie just got his word order wrong, I believe it should have read "At the start there were tough choices on not including a DVD player and High-Def etc etc" meaning that when they were designing it it was a tough choice not to include those things.

Besides the most the could do would be to up it to ... 720p was it? That the original XBox ended up at? As the Wii is about +- 3MHz on the XBox's specs.
