Help ! Wii won't load past health and safety screen

I don't know a whole lot about using the Wii, aside from playing it, but the other day while playing super mario bros, my Wii froze. I thought nothing of it and restarted it, but since then, it is unable to load past the health and safety warning screen. It doesn't tell me to press "A" to continue as it usually does. After restarting it multiple times, the press a message did appear once or twice, but once I press A, it goes to a black screen and won't load. Please help me !

if it dose not load after you push a it shoud say memory corrped

yea I thought that it should, but nothing comes up except for the health and safety warning, or the black screen the occasional time it does say press a, and it won't load past either of those screens

hmmm try putting it into maintainse mode it might work

well i googled maintenance mode before, and i can't quite remember what it told me to do, because it was when i first posted this problem, but i couldn't get it to go into maintenance mode, so however i did it didn't work.
