help with http:192.168.1.1

Ok, i went to the http:\\192.168.1.1 (default ip adress) but i typed my own ip adress, which is different, but im not telling u my real ip adress.

Anyways, i went to that website and it is asking me for Username and Password..

anyone can help me? i tried admin for username and admin for pw, but not working, so i tried blank for username and admin for pass. not working, tried lots of stuff

I thought they gave you (or you signed up) for your own username and password.

what router do you have? linksys, netgear, ect. the default passwords i know of are:
user: admin
Pass: password

user: admin
pass: pass

user: admin
pass: 12345 (or 1234)

user:
pass: admin

pass:

try all those and if they dont work then you will need to tell us what kind of router you have so we can help

can you change the IP of the router????
i thought the ip of the router stayed the same and the ip of the pc's/other devices could have different ip's than the default givens..
when you type in the ip you picked, i think that means that you are trying to connect to your pc from your pc... (or your wii from your wii)
idk, i could be wrong...

Once you know your router's IP address introduce it into your browser's URL address. You'll be directed to the user login panel. There introduce your router user and password.
