How to make virtual console games cover the entire screen?

Is there a way to make the virtual console games cover the entire screen? I have a 50 in tv and the Zaxxon game only covers 1/4 of the screen. I've tried to change the ratio on the Wii and on my tv from 4:3 and 16:9 but, no luck.:questionbox:

The problem is that some arcade titles where made for vertical screens and as a result wont really fit on our TVs, check your TVs functions as some have a zoom

Yea! I've tried everything that I can. I guess that's just how it's going to have to be played.
