After the credits there was another ending to the game which included both the Master Chief and Cortana. You could watch it on youtube if you wanted. Also there's another short clip of an ending on Legendary

Bungie are little retards aren't they..... Look up Marathon for MAC. The ending of Halo 3 links to that game...... I thought it was a joke but it isn't it really does link to that game......
