Leaving the CD in the Wii

When you're done playing the Wii do you leave the CD in the console? Just wondering what everyone else does.

Yes I leave the games in it. BTW they are DVDs not CDs.

Yeah no troubles. It really shouldn't affect the console or the disc.

I doubt anything would happen. It is meant to have a game in it. The only thing I could see happening is if it got really hot and the disc warped so that you couldn't get it out.

I meant if it got hot from external sources. Like if the room it was in was very hot.

once i left mine inside for a week and get got hot enough to melt the edges of the dvd but wii sports still works fine

Or the sun I suppose. But that could really happen anywhere, not just inside the console. Hopefully people wouldn't leave their console near such things anyway. Remember that funny Japanese Wii safety guide?

i do it with cds, dvds everything but wii games
but i started leavin them in lately
