Eurogamer has some disappointing news for Star Wars fans who have been eagerly awaiting the release of LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars on the Wii. Despite previously being scheduled for release on February 18, the release date has now been put back to March 25. According to Eurogamer, no explanation for the pushback has materialised from either publisher LucasArts or developer Traveller’s Tales, although Eurogamer points out that this new release date does now tie in with the launch of the Nintendo 3DS, which is one of the many other platforms, including the Wii, that the game will be appearing on. Once the game is finally released, Wii fans can look forward to many new features, including a brand new engine, which gives players a whole new level of control in a vibrant environment, unlike anything ever seen before in a LEGO game, featuring exotic locations across 16 different star systems. Fans can choose to play as villainous Separatists, the noble Republic Heroes, or even as bounty hunters, tracking down characters across the galaxy.
