Yeah it's a great game. My favorite Mario Kart, with MKDS coming in 2nd.

I don't think so, I should check.
You can unlock reverse, that's like 11 "new" tracks. :idea:
The baby mario track were there are only 2 U-turns doesn't count as a "new" track. Luv that course.

it has been a while since i last played but i think it has 16 tracks plus a mirror mode.

I checked: 16 tracks + mirror mode + a few characters and cars to unlock.

I gave a mario kart red shell keychain to my girl to put on her car-keys. It might come in handy
