Do you have to buy a memory card for Wii? What does it cost?

the wii has 512 mb (?) of its own internal flash memory that will store your saves and any virtual console games that you buy

if you happen to need more memory, you can get sd cards, the wii has a slot for those on the front. im not sure about the costs, but it varies with the size of the card.

But can't one use a gamecube memory card too? I've heard that somewhere..

you can use GC memory cards, but only for GC games.

aha ok. But is the flash memory it has enough for gaming? Like save a couple of gamesaves for a couple of games

Search online and in sale papers. I was able to get a 1GB SD card at Office Max for $20. So if you shop around, you can get a good deal on them.
