Message Lag?

Is it just me or do when i send a message to a friend and they send one back to me it takes forever even when they say they send it back right away it sometimes takes days for my Wii to pick it up. Weird? yes? no?

yea mine is like that, i dosent take days but a good 10minutes from time of send
