Never Played Paper Mario: Is It Good?

With the release of the new super paper mario, and the great reviews it got, I can't help but wondering if I should get it. Having never played a paper mario in my life, I'm wondering if they're any good. Do you reccomend me getting this game, because gamespot gave it a great review (for the Wii, they even gave TP an 8!). Any thoughts?:arf:

You don't really need to play the others to like this one. But yes, the older ones are good. I recommend getting them along with Super Paper Mario.

well ign gave it an 8.9/10 rating so that's the best rated wii game in a while.

Yea, me too! Thanks for the feedback. The game is somewhat like the old skool mario platformer, right? Oh yea, and I've been thinking about the godfather, but I might be changing my mind about now.:cornut:
