Is there a limit for the size of SD Card you can use in your nintendo wii?

yes, in fact there is. 2 gigabytes is the max size it will take, and it can be any kind of standard size Secure Digital (SD) card. So you do not need to buy a special Sandisk Wii edition SD card (which is WAY overpriced). Any SD card will do. The 2 gig max size is stated in the owners manual. Happy Gaming!

Yeah most SD devices only support the common specification which only allows up to 2GB. This includes the Wii. Pretty much everything above 2GB is actually SDHC and the Wii doesn't support that (yet?).
