NTSC Wii Power Supply With PAL Wii

I am thinking about getting a PAL Nintendo Wii for modding and other stuff. I do not own a stepdown transformer, and I only have a power cord for a NTSC console, can I use the NTSC power supply with a PAL Wii console without an explosion?

I already have one, I want to get a PAL wii for reasons that I won't put on here, and I am unwilling to mod a pre-owned wii and use any region changer on it
