well u need to have your wii connected to the net so you can use the shopping channel where all the retro games are , but u need to buy wii points before u can downl0ad gams

First you need your Wii connected to the internet. Once you have that done you can purchase VC games via the Wii Shop Channel using Wii Points. You can get these from local game retailers or by credit card through the Wii Shop channel itself.
