Got a meeting on Monday with some Managers about gaming structure as a company, and the topic is Pre-order sales and how we can be better than the competition. so we're (Best Buy) lookin to see some response from you all, whether you shop us or not

1. What draws you to pre-order games?

2. where do you mostly pre-order and why?

3. other comments towards pre-ordering games

1. Expecting that the game will be pretty good (mostly the hype does this job), or knowing that it will be a sequel or remake of a very good game.

2. At amazon, because I don't live in the US and that's the only place where I've bought so far and the prices are good. Haven't really tried anything else nor compared it to others to I can't say if it has the best prices. Also I like that if you pre-order at amazon, and the price decreases they give you the lowest price.

3. It is good to know that you'll have your copy of a game just as it launches.

1. What draws you to pre-order games?
Bonuses, such as if I pre-order a game I'll get free DLC or artbook or something, either by paying more or just because of pre-ordering it.
2. where do you mostly pre-order and why?
GameStop, no other (physical) place does pre-orders.
3. other comments towards pre-ordering games
Don't just always make the preorder bonus an artbook, a t-shirt would be better.
