I did this with a friend via a phone and it took about 20 min for him to activate

guys, you can have whatever you want as the username.. preferably use the one on these forums, as people will be able to identify who you are on the address book easier.
It doesn't have to be your console name.

You can transfer one another's mii's once both parties have added one another. The mii's stay on your machine - a 'copy' is merely sent.

Those who I've added, I'd appreciate it if you could send me your mii's. The mingle option is a little delayed I think? I've only ever seen two mii's in the parade!
