you have to wait for them to add you - when they have, they will appear in black bold text (as opposed to grey) on your address book. Share your mii's, then register their mii to their name.

You don't have to give them a mii straight away so you can ignore that message

The nickname doesnot matter....

the wii number of the added person on your wii must have yours on his added list

thats all...

Also if you try to input a random wii number most probably you will get it wrong as there is some kind of argorithm to set appart the fakes from the reals
