Stuck in Negotiations in legos Star Wars

Howdy all. New to this forum, lookin' foward to tips and such for me and mu' kiddo's wii game.
As of now, we're stuck in Negotiations in lego's Star Wars game. Any tips on how get to the next level? Tried everything we could find to no avail. Does the purple light saber have anything to do with it?

That's okay, we found out how to get out, just gotta not kill everything in sight, including the droid that'll open the next stage.
