The Wiire: A common criticism we've heard at the show today is that the graphics seem unfinished. How far are we in that regard?

Dickenson: Well as far as what we're showing in Madden today, we're focusing on the controls right now. But the thing I can say is that we have a laundry list of things that we haven't even started to do in terms of improving the graphics. We started the first day running at sixty frames per second in debug mode - so we have a lot of room to grow in terms of improving our graphics. As you know with the messaging from Nintendo, this machine isn't focused on pushing the most polys or having the highest texture density, but we do know very clearly from what we're showing here that we're going to be able to make some very noticeable improvements - and we are even right now running at 480p widescreen which we didn't even know two weeks ago that we were going to be doing and we were able to pull it off without it even having an effect on our framerate.
