try googling a guide/walkthrough thats how I always find how to beat something I can't figure out in games.
All you have to do is attack until one drops it's shield and then you grab it and whenever the look like they're going to shoot that lazer you z-target which ever one is and hold the shield facing it.. Turning it to stone and keep doing that until it dies!

Its hard but great
Ok guys here goes the walkthrough first off doesnt help but thanks. The game itself is better than any of the other Tomb Raider games its got two different games in one there is the Croft Mansion mini game. The main game is going round different countries with challenges level bosses and secrets to find as well as artifacts. Graphically it is superior. I dont want to tell you too much about it as I dont want to spoil for you all but I will definately say this it is a must to buy as I dont actually play this myself by my husband is always on it he cant get enough of her lol.
He still hasnt been able to defeat the centaurs but we have found out that they are the hardest bosses to beat in the whole game and its only just half way through the game. Sorry I cant help more but hopefully some one smarter than us will help us all out.

when you have got the rage meter up first time run away from them both, when you get the rage meter up the 2nd time, keep running back but facing them with finger on Z button and keep firing at the one that comes towards you, when he does quickly keep shaking you nunchuck up and down and pull the shield out of his hands, stay by the shield and keep firing at them again and once the rage meter is up to max again pick shield up which then freezes them quickly drop the shield then start firing at him whilst he is frozen, this takes a couple of times to do but this bit is easy. also you dont have to worry about getting the other shield out of his hand as you are defending yourself with the first one all the time

glad that he has now managed to do it, i was trying for a week, now at last im 58% into the game, i enjoy the game apart from the camera angles and it never really tells you what to do next.
hope you both enjoy the rest of the game but i think we will be tapping away to each other to see how we have done bits :wink:
