Just a technical question. Does the sensor for the Wavebird have to be facing the controller and can there be any interference? My Wii is inside a glass case and would like to be able to use the controller without having to leave it open. Any help would be so much appreciated. Thanks.

Oh the glass is nothing special. It's just in an entertainment unit that has glass in front of it. Not like a crystal box with neon lights sitting on a pedestal.

As it has been mentioned, it is a RF device. Line of sight is not needed.

Also, glass is not a problem. I took off the covers for the GC controller ports and GC memory card slots and just leave the Wavebird receivers plugged in. I only open the glass to change games. Everything works fine.

I have a metal bar about 3" in diameter between the Wii and where I sit and my Wavebird works just fine. I also have a wireless router, a wireless telephone, and 360 controllers that all run on various wireless frequencies active at the same time, and I haven't had any issues.
