Motion Plus obviously brings a lot to the table in terms of making things more realistic for motion control. And it seemed to be a big hit with the millions of copies of Wii Sports Resort sold.
So, at least looking at resources like Wikipedia, it seems like there's only a small handful of games coming out that are using the technology. Is it just to difficult to develop for? Or are developers afraid of alienating a group by implementing it (ie., lower sales)?
With the 360 coming out with Natal and the PS3 coming out with its own motion controler, isn't it time for Nintendo and third party developers to get serious about Wii Motion Plus? Yes, the Wii outsells its competitors, but it has a very low attach rate and it's only going to get worse if they don't see the tidal wave that may be approaching.
I have all three systems and like the Wii, but I see little to keep its momentum going. Motion Plus was supposed to be that push. But developers are largely ignoring it.
