why can't the rectangular Wii remote be more ergonomic?

Just a thought....

By the way, will Nintendo ever make those remotes in
other colors? Or should I just buy the skins in different
colors?

personally, i find the Wiimote to already have a very ergonomic design, it fits easily into the hand and you don't have to stretch your hand around it. It just sits in the hand easily and you naturally grip it.

My bet is that they will eventually have different colors of remotes since the pla n on releasing the console in different colors next year.
