why does sonic now appear for nintendo?

Most Sega releases over the past few years have being licenced out to other rival consoles. It makes sense to finally licence out Sonic, its not like Sega are currently in the console market so why not make money by releasing their biggest title to popular formats.

can any one shed some light on why sonic now appears in Nintendo games?

When Sega decided to stop making home consoles they obviously had to make money somewhere. They're now just a software company working cross brand.

I don't really understand the question he is not appearing in Nintendo games just their consoles

Cuz PS3 is bull ****. 360 is getting SOME games.

1. Nintendo help make sonic with sega. Ever heard about sonic on VC? yeah. nintendo's licinced. They also helped make sonic riders and some of the older sonic games when Sega had a console.
2. SA2B, Sonic heros, Sonic DX, and all the porteble sonic games make sega a lot of money.
3. Fandom. Unfound on 360 and PS3.

I've always wanted to play some of the Sonic games that were on the GC that's why I want a Wii soooooo badly.

Sonic doesn't appear in Nintendo games.

BTW he's multiplatform, not Nintendo's blue *****. It makes sense because Sega gave up on the Dreamcast.

They didn't 'Decide'. Segas Hardware Company funds went down the shitter so they were Bankrupt but the Software side was still healthly so they sacked off Hardware and went for Software. Though Nintendo is Sonics Home. They link FUN FAST games and so does the Wii. The 360 Version SUCKED!

In Hardware they lose money now except the Wii, which makes money. At least that's what Cameron Banga said and then he said we'lll talk about tat later but he never did
