Widescreen TV

Guys,

Just bought a Wii, I used S-Video cable included in the package to hookup my Insignia 42'' widescreen TV. In console setting I selected 16:9, but nothing happens.

Does S-Video cable support 16:9, or I have to buy a Wii component cable to make it happen?

You need component. Then you can choose both Widescreen and 16:9.
