Wii and pc compatability

Hi guys & gals

Finally got a wii and would like to connect to internet but I am told my computer must have windows XP? true or false?

Any suggestions on good pc's out there without paying big $

i would say that is false... as long as you have a wireless router or a wired ethernet dongle you should be able to connect no matter what kind of operating system is on your PC.

Now to be able to stream music and movies off your PC to your WII you will probably need windows xp on there.

Be sure to read the Wii manual. It discusses the various ways of connecting to the internet.
