PS2 Nights Remake not being released stateside

Miyamoto shot down a Retro developed Twisted Metal clone because it had guns on cars

Red Steel 2 apparently being handed to another developer because it's not going well. Online co-op and release in 2008 likely.

Resistance 2 to start with a bang. Vehicles in multiplayer.

Treyarch developing CoD5. World War 2 again.

Animal Crossing Wii to be a sequel and possibly a MMO.

Gears of War 2 will have much more emphasis on story and it will be darker.

Apparently these are from the latest/upcoming EGM rumors.
I realize there are other console rumors as well, but I figured its easier having them all in one. Animal Crossing and the Wii board rumor are some of the more interesting ones to me in there.

the excuse for shotting down the twisted metal game *cough* Thunder Rally *cough*(im sure they were trying to revive this canceled cube title as it was one of the ones along with Raven Blade ,and Retro Football that got canceled to make way for MP) is pretty ridiclous if you ask me. The whole point Nintendo got Retro was to make more American style games. Shiggy gotta realize in order to battle the competition that not every game needs bright happy colors with sickening sweet furry happy characters (not that i mind Nintendo's characters) What's next the cancelation of disaster because *gasp* it has guns.

I think I may even break the bank for Mario Kart Wii edition, get good use out of my racing wheel, I loved the Mario Kart 64 one (which I own) so it's either that or Smash Bros.
