Wii remotes

My daughter has 2 remotes for her wii but for some reason they are not connecting with the wii. The blue lights flicker as they search for the connection but then give up. We have tried new batteries but to no avail. The machine and the remotes are 18 months old. Help!!

have you tried to open the little side part were you put in the sd card there is a red button on there press it then try one controller at a time press the button in the back of the wii romotes were the batterys go and it should work just fine post if it worked

my daughters have the same problem and we tried the re sync of the controllers and its still not working ??????? i have tried to call the help line on the web site but the numbers are nolonger conected ..... can anyone help pls :sick:
